Virtue Community professional learning is designed for educators and others working with children and young people in Christian school settings.
Our professional learning is evidence based, drawing from deep research and includes theory, definitions, resources and teaching strategies. It aims to support educators to deliver Relationships, Identity, and Sexuality Education (RISE) from a Christian Worldview.
All participants will receive certificates of attendance for webinars and face to face events. Once you register, you will receive a webinar registration email with session details.

Teaching Puberty
It’s not always easy to teach Puberty, especially when incorporating a Christian Worldview. This webinar provides an overview of Virtues Based teaching for Puberty lessons in years 4-7.

Getting started with Relationships, Identity and Sexuality Education (RISE).
This 45-minute introductory webinar is for upper primary and secondary educators to explore the basics of teaching RISE. This webinar is perfect for new teachers or teachers new to RISE.
Learn basic vocabulary, understand the comprehensive RISE framework and how to talk to young people about RISE concepts.

In God’s Image
The new Health Education Curriculum for implementation in 2025 has an increased focus on Identity. This webinar helps teachers explore the concept of Who am I? from a Christian perspective.
This 45-minute webinar will help educators understand:
- Christ Centred Identity.
- Current cultural language used to describe Identity.
- The impact of social media, pornography, and culture on young peoples’ attitudes, behaviours and sense of identity.
This presentation will share practical strategies to build critical thinking, challenge harmful narratives, and create open conversations that empower teachers to navigate conversations about Identity focusing on being image bearers of God.

Vulnerability and safety are serious concerns, especially for young people. But what exactly does safety look like for our LGBTQ+ students in a Christian School? How can you support young people in your school to feel safe, loved and valued?
This 45-minute webinar for teachers, school leaders, pastoral and wellbeing leaders. It will explore:
- Experiences of LGBTQ+ students in Christian schools
- Practical strategies schools can implement to help all students feel loved, safe and valued.
