360 Feedback Tool Development Study

Virtue Community is partnering with Sheridan Institute of Higher Education to conduct research related to its core function of providing evidenced-based teacher education.

The aim of the study is to develop a 360 feedback tool for schools to evaluate the worldview and perspectives of relationships and sexuality. In this development study we will be using factor analysis to determine the validity of survey questions for use in the 360 degree feedback tool.

The research will have benefits for Christian schools who will be able to use the final product to better understand the culture of the school and the beliefs of the school community. The feedback gained from this research will help the final product be of high quality and contextually appropriate.

There are no costs to being involved and participation is entirely voluntary. There are no consequences for participants if they choose to not participate. Participants are free to withdraw their participation at any stage and without penalty.

To be a research study participant you will be asked to:

  • Complete the pilot survey

The pilot survey includes 53 questions across six domains. Each question is to be answered using a 5-point Likert rating scale ranging from Strongly agree to Strongly disagree. Survey completion is anonymous and your name will not be recorded on your survey response.

All completed surveys in this development research will kept confidentially. As it must be kept for 7 years for legal reasons, it will be kept securely at Sheridan Institute of Higher Education. After that time the data will be destroyed. Only the results of the factor analysis from this research will be reported in published works.
