This story book focuses on personal identity. In the story John shows humility by putting others first, giving glory to god, and being obedient. He values community and working with others. In this story John brings the Virtue Lane community together with a recycling program that not only is good for the environment but also generates a sense of belonging in the street and the money raised is put to good use, helping those in need.
